LASALLE — Illinois State Police (ISP) District 17 troopers arrested two women for possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis with the intent to deliver, following a traffic stop on Route 351 near Interstate 80 on Friday, July 20.
Kelli Green, 40, of Roseville, Calif., and Kimberly Green, 28, of San Leandro, Calif., were arrested following a traffic stop on a 2017 Ford Fusion for failing to use a turn signal when required. During the stop, troopers found 39 pounds of cannabis, 250 cartridges containing cannabis oil and eight sheets of cannabis wax.
The LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office approved Class X felony charges against both women. They were transported to the LaSalle County Jail following the arrest.
