GENESEO — Connie Lou Daugherty, 73, of Geneseo passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at her home after a short battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
Born April 7, 1944, in Princeton to Marshall and Cleta Stutzman, she married William Daugherty in 1969. He survives.
She graduated from Buda High School and Midstate College in Peoria. She worked at Jostens in Princeton. After her marriage, she and Bill ran their own recognition award business, first in Crystal Lake and later in Geneseo.
Also surviving are one daughter, Julie (Scott) Prigge of Port Byron; one son, Craig (Kristi) Daugherty of Edelstein; five grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah Prigge, and Camille, Nadine and Hank Daugherty; one brother Donald Stutzman of Geneseo; and one sister, Judith (Gary) Clark of Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dolores Barnett.
At her request, no services will be held.
