PRINCETON — A Sparland man was sentenced three years in Illinois Department of Corrections for possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony.
According to a press release issued by the Bureau County State’s Attorney’s Office, Steven D. Galli, 38, was arrested on Jan. 5 by Princeton Police on a separate offense. When Galli was searched, methamphetamine was found in his possession.
Galli was sentenced in Bureau County Circuit Court on May 31 by Bureau County Circuit Judge C.J. Hollerich. First Assistant State’s Attorney Thomas Briddick was the prosecutor in the case. Bureau County Public Defender Michael Henneberry was the defense attorney.
