U of I Extension/4-H raffle drawing planned for Friday

PRINCETON — The Friends of Extension and 4-H, who help support outreach educational programs for the University of Illinois Extension – Bureau County, and its 4-H/Youth Development Program, are inviting individuals to participate in a cash raffle fundraiser.

Four cash prizes will be awarded ($2,500, $1,000, $500, $250) on Friday, June 14. Tickets can be purchased for a $50 donation, or three tickets can be had for $100.

All monies raised will support the 4-H and Extension educational programs in Bureau County.

Winning tickets will be drawn at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, at the Becker Professional Building located at 850 Thompson St. in Princeton.

Those who received tickets in the mail are encouraged to turn them in. Tickets are still available and can be turned in until June 13.

The fundraiser is sponsored by Friends of Extension & 4-H and the Bureau County Home and Community Education Association.

The U of I Extension provides educational programs and services in the following broad program areas: 4-H Youth Development Program; family living, nutrition and consumer sciences; community and economic development; and agriculture and natural resources (including Master Gardener and Master Naturalist programs and community service projects).
